Who are we and what do we do?
Retail Search Consultancy provide retail management candidates and have worked with a number of leading retailers since we established the business in 2008. These include Debenhams, House Of Fraser, Clarks, The Arcadia Group (Topshop, Topman and Outfit), Selfridges, Harrods, Tommy Hilfiger and Timberland. Our clients ask us to find Regional, HR, Store, Department and Sales Managers that are niche or difficult to fill because we are proactive and don’t rely upon dated CV databases or lapsed candidates. Using our networking and direct sourcing skills we find the candidates who are not actively looking for a new role: the top performers are not job seekers.
There is no charge to our candidates (job applicants) and our client companies will pay us either on a results only basis or they will pay upfront for our services. We interview candidates on a face to face basis and use skype and telephone screening methods. Our consultants are CIPD qualified and are professionally trained in areas including competence-based interviewing skills, candidate sourcing, candidate management and client account management. We work closely with candidates and ensure that they are fully briefed and prepared for client interviews, enabling us to gain candidate commitment and boosting their knowledge of our client, the role and their interviewer.
